A space for creation and evolution
The residency project, Casa Tamatsi, was born from the desire to offer a space for creation and introspection, drawing from the visual richness, cultural legacy, and mysticism of the Wirikuta desert to nurture artistic expression in all its forms. We are committed to providing an environment for creation and reflection where the individual and art are deeply intertwined.
We believe in the importance of connecting with the land, memory, cycles, culture, and silence as vital sources to nourish creativity and enrich artistic practice. Through this experience, we also seek to reflect on our responsibility as artists in the present moment.
Space for creation
We offer a unique and inspiring space where artists can explore, experiment, and create freely. We support and welcome all forms of artistic expression, encouraging the search for the artist’s essence — their voice, identity, and connection to creation. We believe in the importance of introspection as a tool for both personal and artistic growth. We foster the exchange of ideas and collaboration among artists from diverse disciplines and cultures, embracing the cross-pollination of perspectives as a catalyst for new ways of thinking and creating.
